Mr. Nikolay Mayger

The history of Mayger Consulting is closely coupled with the infancy of the Ukrainian market of consulting services as well as the personal desire of Dr. Nikolay V. Mayger to realize his knowledge and business experience. Established in 2000, the Mayger Consulting manned with a team of professionals brought together and headed by Dr. Mayger for several years, is today a company well known in Ukraine and outside the country.

Dr. Nikolay V. Mayger is a purposeful and active person with a versatile business experience. This could be verified by a broad range of his employment and public activities. As business in Ukraine formed and developed, Nikolay Mayger was engaged in establishing and re-organizing companies and improving business processes in different fields including tourism, trade, industrial manufacturing, etc. He gained a rich financial experience working as the Chairman of the Supervisory Council of the Finbank commercial bank, a member of the Supervisory Council of a joint-stock leasing company, the Chairman of the Blagovest charity pension fund. His public activities included the following responsibilities: the President of the Regional Agency of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Odessa Regional Coordination Board on Investments and Innovations, a member of the Board of Pre-trial Settlement of Disputes between Investors, Executive Bodies and Local Authorities for the Odessa Regional State Administration, a member of the Board on Corporate Management for the Odessa Regional State Administration, a member of the Administrative Board of the Odessa City Employers’ Society of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, a member of the Administrative Board of the Odessa Regional Employers’ Society of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, a member of the Administrative Board of the Odessa Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs.

Degree in economy also played an important role. Moving stage by stage through his employment history, Nikolay Mayger accumulated professional experience improving the existing and developing new business directions.

With the course of time, having accumulated reliable professional experience he decided to focus on the consulting business. His choice in favor of consulting services was not an incidental one – the active business processes taking place in Ukraine at that time induced a demand for consulting services and displayed shortage of qualified specialists in this field. During this period of work the Mayger Consulting has stockpiled a substantial experience of strategic planning and improving business processes.

Taking into account specificity of doing business in Ukraine with a diversity of problems to overcome, N.Mayger devoted his efforts to the basics of market regulation of economy which resulted in a successful doctorship thesis. Understanding the importance of law awareness he worked hard to get a University degree in law.
