Ms. Gini Dietrich

Gini Dietrich is president and founder of Arment Dietrich Inc. The firm was built on three key values – client service, results, and entrepreneurial spirit – and lives those values today.

Ms. Dietrich has 12 years of public relations experience and four years of business-building and entrepreneurial experience. She built Arment Dietrich from one lawn and garden client and no employees to specializing in both the lawn and garden and hospitality industries with 15 employees, to date.

In the hospitality industry, Arment Dietrich currently works with GE Capital Solutions, Franchise Finance, Gettys, Meridian Hospitality Group, and KeyLime Cove.

Prior to starting her own public relations firm, Ms. Dietrich was vice president/management supervisor at Rhea & Kaiser (R&K) Marketing Communications in Naperville, Ill., where she led a team of consumer and agriculture professionals. She was integral in building the PR department for R&K, and helped put in place the processes they use today. Gini won a Regional National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) first place award and a second place National award for her Option® corn herbicide launch while at R&K. She also led the Gulfstream Lawn & Garden team that launched Over ‘n Out® Fire Ant Killer and the Bayer CropScience (formerly Aventis CropScience) horticulture team.

Ms. Dietrich joined R&K in 2001 after serving as vice president at Fleishman-Hillard, Inc., in Kansas City, Mo., where she led the teams that launched Ocean Spray® Premium 100% Juices® and Welch’s single-serve juices. She also led the Catfish Institute (TCI) team and was integral in priming regulatory and legislative officials to impose anti-dumping laws against the Japanese. Ms. Dietrich won a National NAMA "Best of Show" for her work on the TCI account in 2000. Ms. Dietrich also worked on the BASF Agricultural Products account, where she launched Distinct® and Celebrity® corn herbicides.

Ms. Dietrich began her public relations career at Valentine Radford Communications in Kansas City, Mo., where she worked on the Bayer agricultural account. She handled all public relations for the fruits, nuts, and vegetables products and played an integral part in the launch of Admire® insecticide for potatoes. She also worked on communications for Provado® insecticide and Axiom® and Sencor® herbicides. Gini won a National NAMA "Best of Show" award for her Bayer potato planner in 1997.

Ms. Dietrich graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in English from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., where she was the 1991 sole recipient for the Peter Kiewit full-ride, four-year scholarship. Ms. Dietrich is the president of the Chicago chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and is a member of Vistage International, a CEO development company.
