Wi-Fi, online concierges and entertainment on demand – guests now expect the highest quality of technological service from the hotels they stay with. As the technology improves so will the guests experiences and expectations of a stay at your hotel, as you will read about in my article "Meeting the Growing Technology Needs of Guests" in the Hotel Business Review

Technology in the hospitality industry has seen massive developments in recent years and it’s now a major selling point to guests and of course a revenue driver. In my article I look at a number of issues and hot topics that surround the growing technological needs of guests. I examine the advent of Wi-Fi and where the industry is going with that next, the explosion of the mobile office and the requirements on a hotel that it brings. I also look at the ways that technology has improved interactions with customer both pre and post visit.

Finally I examine the ways in which hotels can harness the power of the internet and in particular the social networking phenomenon that has exploded in the last few years.
