. October 14, 2008

AUGUSTA, GA, October 16, 2006. The West Paces Hotel Group, a renowned national and international hotel and resort management company, has named Jeffrey C. Brower as general manager of The Partridge Inn in Augusta, Ga. Brower will start at The Partridge Inn on October 20, 2006, and takes the helm of this historic landmark following a multimillion dollar renovation of the property. As General Manager he will oversee all areas of hotel operations and service, including food and beverage, rooms, reservations, banquets, meeting rooms, and support departments.

Brower brings extensive experience with luxury and distinctive hotels to The Partridge Inn. He most recently served as general manager of the exquisite Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa in Sausalito, Calif, which is also managed by the West Paces Hotel Group. A veteran Ritz-Carlton executive, Brower has actively participated in seven hotel openings, both domestic and international, over his eight years with the organization.

During his career, he was responsible for implementing processes and procedures that led to a AAA Five Diamond award for The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia within its first year of operation, the first hotel to ever achieve this designation in such a short time. He was also part of the team that was responsible for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company's receipt of the prestigious Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award in 1999.

"Jeffrey is a talented hospitality professional whose expertise is a perfect fit with The Partridge Inn. His impeccable attention to quality, guest satisfaction and employee training are unequalled, and we are certain that he will continue the tradition of hospitality for which The Partridge Inn has always been known," said Horst Schulze, president and CEO of the West Paces Hotel Group.

"The Partridge Inn has been an integral part of Augusta's history since the late 19th century when it regularly hosted Presidents, golf legends and a virtual who's who of the industrial age as the country's premier resort destination. I'm enthusiastic about coming to Augusta, especially as we mark our second century of service to Augusta and beyond," said Brower.

The first hotel in Georgia selected for inclusion in Historic Hotels of America, The Partridge Inn has just completed from a multimillion dollar renovation of its guest rooms, exterior, and public spaces, restoring the property to the grandeur and luster of its heyday.
