Hotel Reina Victoria Transformed into the First ME by Melia

ME Madrid Reina Victoria, the first hotel of the new brand of ME by Melia, officially opens its doors today in the legendary Hotel Reina Victoria, located in the Plaza de Santa Ana in the heart of Madrid's dynamic and re-energized city centre. ME Madrid Reina Victoria represents the new daring, bold hotel concept of experience-based personality hotels which is characterized by passion for service, design, international fusion cuisine and world music.

The combination of these elements along with the implementation of a restricted colour palette and a meticulously-cultivated play list of music buzzing in the common areas will create an attractive and relaxed atmosphere for guests to appreciate throughout the hotel.

Upon entering the lobby, guests will encounter a long dynamic space filled with natural light that offers intriguing glimpses of the drama unfolding beyond. The ambiance of the space will be skillfully orchestrated by the hotel's Experience Manager, who will ensure that all guests experience a personalized culture within an urban retreat - a place that resonates with their passion for life.

Whisked up from the ground floor in a private elevator, hotel guests and the public alike can experience THE PENTHOUSE terrace bar where the people are bound to be as dynamic as the unobstructed city panorama over the famous Plaza Santa Ana.

Rising-star and local talent Jaime Renedo has been appointed executive chef, and will be responsible for the creation and execution of the menus in both MIDNIGHT ROSE and THE PENTHOUSE.

Guests can also make use of the 24-7 Business Center, which features high-speed internet, computers, facsimile and scanner.
