'Cool Japan' Heads to WTM

. October 14, 2008

TOKYO, Japan, October 26, 2006. The Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) [STAND AS2200] will be launching its new campaign, "Cool Japan - Fusion with Tradition," at this year's World Travel Mart (WTM) at Stand AS2200. The promotion focuses on the "cool" side of urban Japan juxtaposed over the traditional notion travellers have of the country.

According to JNTO PR Manager, Kylie Clark: "The Japan National Tourist Organization is launching the Cool Japan - Fusion with Tradition campaign to make people aware that Japan is much more than geisha, sumo, gardens, temples and Mt Fuji. One of Japan's key charms is its dynamic blend of old and new. In a holiday to Japan, people can experience ancient temples, gardens and cultural traditions at the same time as enjoying some of the world's most futuristic and technologically advanced cities."
