Preferred Hotel Group Signs Grand Bohemian Hotel - Orlando
The Kessler Collection Adopts Preferred Hotels(R) & Resorts Brand Effective November 20, 2006
CHICAGO, IL, October 31, 2006. Preferred Hotel Group is expanding its relationship with The Kessler Collection through the signing of Grand Bohemian Hotel - Orlando as a Preferred Hotel. The announcement was made jointly by John Ueberroth, CEO, Preferred Hotel Group, and Richard C. Kessler, chairman and CEO, The Kessler Enterprises, Inc.
The announcement comes on the heels of The Kessler Collection's decision to discontinue its five-year affiliation with Westin in favor of moving forward as an independent. Since its 2001 debut, the AAA Four-Diamond hotel has achieved critical acclaim from a host of respected sources, including Travel+Leisure Magazine's "Greatest In The World" Top 500 list, and Cond'e Nast Traveler's Gold List. The Boheme restaurant has also been recognized with induction to Nation's Restaurant News' Hall of Fame, the DiR^oNA Award of Excellence and Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence in 2005 and 2006. Both The Boheme and the Grand Bohemian Hotel have been awarded AAA's Four-Diamond rating in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
