Paul van Wijk Named Managing Director of Dolce La Hulpe

Modern Conference Resort to Open February 2007

MONTVALE, NJ, July 17, 2006. Dolce International, a leader in the conference center industry and hospitality management, appointed Paul van Wijk managing director of Dolce La Hulpe Brussels Hotel, Resort & Conference Destination in La Hulpe outside of Brussels, scheduled to open in February 2007. In his new position, Mr. van Wijk will oversee an extensive renovation and expansion of the former IBM training center and its reflagging as a Dolce full-service hotel, resort and conference destination. He will also be responsible for the operational launch of Dolce La Hulpe Brussels, and its positioning as a trendy locale for business meetings as well as leisure visits. Dolce acquired the management contract for the property last year.

Mr. van Wijk joins Dolce with more than 35 years in the hotel industry. Most recently, he was vice president and area general manager for Warwick International Hotels. Previously, he served as general manager for the former Sandton Sun Hotel in Johannesburg (currently InterContinental Hotel), the Royal Windsor in Brussels and the Warwick Hotel in New York City, respectively. Prior to that, he was executive assistant manager at the Four Seasons Hotel in London. Originally from The Netherlands, Mr. van Wijk began his career with Hilton Hotels, first as a management trainee at the Amsterdam Hilton; and for the subsequent nine years, he held various posts within Hilton Hotels in London, Brussels, Kuwait City and D"usseldorf.

Conveniently located just under 10 miles from Brussels Zaventem International Airport and Brussels city center in the Soignes forest, the ultra modern Dolce La Hulpe will offer 264 generously-sized guest rooms. Two conference centers will offer a total of 47,000 square feet of meeting space offering 36 meeting rooms, 4 auditoriums (largest 484 seats) and 7,760 square feet exhibition space,. Recreational activities will include a spa with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, fitness center and massage and beauty treatments. In addition, Dolce La Hulpe Brussels will provide an a la carte restaurant, a main dining room for 420 people, several private dining rooms and banquet facilities, and two bars. Offering the very latest in communication technology, the property's meeting spaces will be equipped with high speed wired and wireless internet access, ergonomic meeting chairs and networking areas.
