Atlanta CVB Hires National Accounts Sales Manager

February 17, 2010 - The Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) is pleased to announce the addition of Zachary Laws as national accounts sales manager.

In this role, Laws is responsible for identifying and acquiring new association, trade show, convention and meeting business for the city through sales trips, customer visits and bid presentations.

Laws joins the ACVB with 10 years of experience in hotel sales management. For the past two years, Laws has served as senior sales manager for the InterContinental Buckhead. He has worked with other major Atlanta hotels including the Omni Hotel at CNN Center where he held the position of the express sales manager before being promoted to national sales manager of the property. Prior to that, he served as senior sales manager for both of Atlanta’s Ritz-Carlton properties.

Laws holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a minor in Business from Georgia Southern University. After graduating, he launched his hospitality career as sales manager for the Sheraton Four Seasons in Greensboro, N.C.
