2009 Top Performers Announced during Awards Ceremony

More than 65 managers representing 25 properties managed by Waterford Hotel Group and the company’s corporate office attended the meeting to share ideas and set goals and strategies for 2010. During the awards ceremony, Waterford’s recognitions included Juanita Smith, a room attendant at the Hilton Hartford hotel who was chosen from a pool or nearly 1800 associates as Associate of the Year, and the 78-room Residence Inn by Marriott in Danbury, CT recognized as Hotel Team of the Year. Additional awards were announced in the following categories: General Manager of the Year, Director of Sales of the Year, Department Head of the Year, “Whatever it Takes”, Most Improved RevPAR, Charitable Excellence, as well as various department performance awards.
