EXPO Shanghai Traveling Guideline: Opening Time

Shanghai Expo is coming. Here, we will introduce some basic information in series to help travelers arrange their routes.

Expo Park is opened from 9:00-24:00, 15hours totally, while all pavilions are opened from 9:30-22:30, just 13hours. Expo Park is prohibited to visit after 21:00, and most of pavilions after 22:00. In usual days (4th, May-30th, September; 8th, October-24th, October, 2010), if visiting after 17:00, visitors can buy night-tickets, priced at RMB 90, at entrance at once, and enter Park before 21:00. If visitors finish their visiting too late, they can lodge at GreenTree Inn Shanghai Expo Village Hotel, which is next to Expo Park.

Maybe some visitors have a question: pavilions are not opened during 9:00-9:30 and 22:30-24:00, what can we do? In fact, there are more than 100 performances in the Park everyday, and opening and closing ceremony is the most wonderful. I suggest visitors arrive at Expo Park at 08:30, and enter at 09:00, because opening ceremony begins at 09:00-09:30.

Hotel Human Resources: The Biggest Challenges
The economic challenges of the past four years have led many hotel companies to re-examine the ways in which they do business and how they deploy talent. In many cases, the work did not go away and fewer people were left to carry on the tasks that had previously been shared among many. As we work our way out of the recession and look forward to a healthier economic environment, there is an understanding that despite recovering business levels, we may never see the return of former staffing levels. This "new norm" of operating with leaner teams has led Human Resources professionals and people managers to look at career development and growth opportunities in a new light. The March Hotel Business Review will take a look at some of the strategies being used by successful hotel brands, and techniques human resource directors are currently exploring.
