Marriott To Open Residence Inn, Lexington, KY

August 25, 2010 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR; www.marriott.com) is scheduled to open the 104-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky this Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Located at 3110 Wall Street, the Residence Inn Lexington Keeneland/Airport will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Tharaldson Enterprises of Fargo, North Dakota.

Located four miles from the Bluegrass Airport, the Residence Inn Lexington Keeneland/Airport offers its guests convenient access to Keeneland Racetrack, Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Horse Park and the Downtown Historical District. Rates vary depending on length of stay.

Residence Inns are designed as all suite hotels that offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite has a fully-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, microwave oven, full-sized appliances and free high-speed Internet access. The hotel offers daily housekeeping, complimentary grocery shopping services and same-day dry cleaning.

A complimentary hot breakfast buffet, HomeTouch™ is available each morning in the lobby area. Other hotel facilities and services include an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, exercise room/SportCourt®, a social room, weeknight social hour and faxing/copying/printing. The hotel also offers 800 square feet of meeting space to accommodate small meetings and functions up to 30 people.
