Windsor Capital Group Names Jeffrey V. Farina VP-Development

Farina will oversee strategy and develop hotel management opportunities for the hotel management arm of Windsor Capital Group

SANTA MONICA, CA - August 30, 2010 - Windsor Capital Group has appointed Jeffrey V. Farina Vice President of Development. He will be responsible for identifying new hotel management opportunities for the company. Farina will report to Bill Upshaw, Windsor Capital Group’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Windsor Capital Group is a privately held hotel management and development firm based in Santa Monica, Calif. Its hotel management arm, Windsor Management Services, manages the operations for nearly 6,000 rooms in 24 full service hotels in North America.

Farina comes to Windsor Capital Group from Bridgestreet Worldwide, where he was Director of New Business Development, leading the global corporate housing firm’s growth strategy for the top 25 MSAs in North America. Prior to that, Farina was Vice President of Development for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Chief Development Officer for Benchmark Hospitality International. Before assuming a role in hotel development he spent 15 years in a variety of hotel sales and management roles.

Farina earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Master’s of Business Administration with Honors from Iona College and currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Hospitality Management Program at Monroe College. Previously, he was tapped to serve as the President and Chairman of the North American Board of the International Association of Conference Centers.
