Newport Creek to Manage Resort on Island of Boracay

WALNUT CREEK, CA, January 22, 2007. Newport Creek Hospitality, an international hotel management company with headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA has entered into an agreement to manage the spectacular 5-star Fairways and Bluewater Resort on the island of Boracay.

One hundred miles South of Manila, Boracay is considered the Hawaii of the Philippines, and its beach has been identified as one of the best beaches in the world by both Conde Nast and BMW leisure guide. The resort showcases its 18-hole Graham Marsh designed golf course and country club which proudly hosted the Jonnie Walker Super tour playing host to professional golfers such as Nick Faldo, Ernie Else, Jesper Parnivick and others. The resort also features a luxurious spa, horseback riding facilities, aqua sports shop, Restaurants, Vista's and Veranda's for receptions and meetings, Luxurious time Share Villa's and 3 upscale Villa hotels which will eventually contain more then 900 rooms on and around the golf course, many of the rooms with stunning views of the ocean.
