TravelCLICK Selected by Colonial Williamsburg

Integrated Distribution and Marketing Solution

. October 14, 2008

CHICAGO, IL, January 22, 2007. TravelCLICK Inc., a leading provider of hotel business process management (BPM) solutions, announced today that Colonial Williamsburg has selected the iHotelier central reservation system (CRS) for website reservations at its five official Colonial Williamsburg properties in Williamsburg, VA - Williamsburg Inn, Colonial Houses, Williamsburg Lodge, Woodlands Hotel & Suites and Governor's Inn. Colonial Williamsburg also has implemented the iHotelier CRS for Global Distribution System (GDS) reservations at select properties. As part of its integrated distribution strategy, Colonial Williamsburg is using TravelCLICK's market intelligence tool, RateVIEW, to evaluate rates and occupancy levels of key competitors and implement rate and inventory strategies that increase bookings across electronic channels.

"iHotelier creates an interactive shopping environment for guests, allowing them to take control of their booking decisions and focus on their overall vacation experience rather than room rates alone," said Daniel J. Young, Director of Business Planning & Analysis, Revenue Management and Commissary Operations for the Colonial Williamsburg Company. "With an integrated solution of CRS and market intelligence, we are able to build our online identity and drive more business through our website, all while exceeding the online shopping expectations of our guests."

iHotelier is a web-based central reservations system and distribution management solution. Its advanced booking engine allows Colonial Williamsburg to display inventory and room rates in real time and offers a variety of features and functionality, including comprehensive digital media capabilities, currency conversion, multi-language support, email marketing tools and extensive online reporting. The booking engine integrates seamlessly with the property's own website, allowing guests to reserve any hotel service or amenity online, such as room upgrades, dining options and event tickets.

The Colonial Williamsburg properties also will use TravelCLICK's market intelligence tool, RateVIEW, to identify pricing opportunities and implement more effective rate and inventory strategies. RateVIEW provides rate-shopping data from more than 130 major travel websites, brand sites and the GDS. Its user-friendly reports identify discrepancies, opportunities and week-to-week changes in rates for a hotel and its competitive set.

"Colonial Williamsburg is unlike any other resort property in the world, with many exciting sites, programs and services for its guests," said Christopher Rockett, Vice President - Americas at TravelCLICK. "Our combination of leading-edge technology and marketing solutions will help the destination enhance its online branding and merchandising while serving the needs of its many visitors more effectively."

Considered the world's largest living museum, Colonial Williamsburg's 301-acre historic area contains hundreds of restored, reconstructed and historically furnished buildings. Costumed interpreters tell the stories of the men and women of the 18th-century city - black, white and Native American, slave, indentured and free - and the challenges they faced. The destination is owned and operated by The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, a private non-profit educational institution that preserves and interprets the historic area. In support of its educational mission, the Foundation and its subsidiaries operate hotels, restaurants, retail shops and meeting facilities, and license the sale of a variety of products, including reproductions, interpretations and adaptations of its collections.
