Luxury Leader Adds Spas, Sophisticated Safari Camps, Stately Hotels and One-of-a-Kind Resorts to Its Portfolio

NEW YORK, NY - January 10, 2012 - Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera is set at the peak of the Punta Skala peninsula, overlooking the Adriatic Sea – 15 kilometers from the town of Zadar, Croatia. Currently the only five-star luxury hotel in the region, it is just steps away from the beach and surrounded by a beautiful park. With its striking modern architecture and spacious lobbies, the 208-room hotel is a perfect hideaway for relaxing and enjoying a luxury experience. Dining options include Jadran Restaurant serving Mediterranean and regional cuisines; La Veranda Restaurant offering Italian and Dalmatian specialties; Sotto Voce Bar and Lounge; the season Bracera Beach Bar & Restaurant; Spa Bistro and the Cigar Lounge. For recreation, there are indoor and outdoor pools, water sports, and an Aquapura Spa with 17 treatment rooms. Meetings and conferences can be accommodated in ten function rooms.

The Italian Riviera resort town of Riva del Garda at the northern tip of Lake Garda, is the setting for the Hotel Lido Palace. First opened in 1899, the hotel has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, and offers 41 rooms and suites with views of the surrounding gardens, mountains and lake. While the property evokes the glamour of the Belle Époque, guest accommodations are furnished in contemporary style, with clean, elegant lines and state-of-the-art technology. Gourmet restaurant Il Re Della Bus showcases the talents of award-winning Chef Giuseppe Sestito. Tremani Bistrot is open all day, serving Mediterranean cuisine; while a light menu is offered in Balì Bar. A 1,500-square-meter spa offers Sensai by Kanebo products and treatments. In addition, there are indoor and outdoor pools, water sports, and a gym with the latest fitness equipment. Three meeting rooms are available for conferences and social functions.

The Torch – Doha is located in the heart of The Aspire Zone, the modern indoor/outdoor sports city of Qatar. The tallest building in the city, the 167-room hotel is decorated in combination of glazing panels and architectural stainless steel mesh, accentuated by state-of-the-art facade lighting. The central spine of the tower provides access to the hotel suites, a health club with cantilevered pool area, and a self-contained presidential suite. Three Sixty is the signature revolving restaurant on the 47th floor, serving international cuisine, while Flying Carpet is the setting for all-day dining. In addition to the dramatic pool area, recreation facilities include a fitness area with Technogym equipment, steam and sauna, jet shower, and a spa with a unique waterfall relaxation space. There are also meeting and conference facilities to accommodate up to 250 people.

Three unique luxury camps in the heart of Botswana comprise Orient Express Safaris. Operated as a collective venture, all can be easily accessed by private charter plane, and each offers a distinctive adventure experience. Savute Elephant Camp is known for the herds of elephants and other large animals that can be spotted roaming its plains. At the edge of a forest overlooking the flood plains of Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Khwai River Lodge is known for its exceptional range of big game, and a host of animals is visible from the comfort of the guest’s private deck. Set in the Okavango Delta, Eagle Island Camp is situated on remote Xaxaba Island among a web of waterways and lush vegetation. It overlooks a lagoon that attracts a breathtaking variety of big game and exotic birds. Accommodations in all camps are in luxury tents on raised wooden platforms with furnished decks for game viewing or private dining. Interiors are appointed with all creature comforts including en-suite bathrooms, mini-bars, four-poster beds with mosquito netting, and air conditioning. Each camp features a restaurant, bar and lounge area, as well as an exercise area and swimming pool. Four daily meals, with wine, beer and spirits, are included in the rates, as are all safari activities.

Slated to open in May following a complete renovation, The Palace Hotel Tokyo is situated in front of the historic Edo Castle, next to the Imperial Palace in the heart of the financial and business district of the city. Most of the 290 spacious rooms and suites have balconies overlooking the Imperial Palace and Garden, which served as the inspirations for the colors and patterns throughout the hotel, forming a fresh and relaxing interior. Four distinctive restaurants include Crown, serving French cuisine; the more informal Grand Kitchen, for all-day dining; Amber Palace, offering traditional Cantonese and Shanghainese specialties; and Wadakura, for Japanese delicacies. The Royal Bar and Privé lounge are the venues for cocktails and conversation. For relaxation, the hotel offers the first Evian Resort spa in Japan, complete with hot baths and treatments, as well as a pool and fitness room. There are eight function rooms accommodating up to 1,500 people.

Canyon Ranch Hotel and Spa in Miami Beach – with its 111 sumptuous one- and two-bedroom suites – offers an inspiring, healthy, serene atmosphere in a stunning luxury setting -- with easy access to everything this exciting city has to offer.
