Pamela Parsons Joins ForrestPerkins as VP of Operations

Hospitality Veteran's Career Gives ForrestPerkins a Unique Advantage

January 12, 2012 - Washington, DC (January 2012) ForrestPerkins is pleased to announce that Pamela Parsons, AIA, ASID, LEED®AP, has joined the luxury hospitality design firm as Vice President of Operations. Parsons, who is a licensed architect, a certified interior designer, and a LEED Accredited Professional, brings a unique hotel owner's perspective and a great depth of experience to the firm.

Parsons earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction as well as a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. In 1998, Parsons joined Host Hotels & Resorts, where she advanced over the years from Director to Senior Vice President of Design and Construction, after holding positions at Marriott International and RTKL. During her 10-year tenure with Host Hotels & Resorts, Parsons administered the design and construction of $90 million to $550 million of annual capital for construction for the $10 billion Fortune 500 Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Host is the largest hospitality REIT in the world and at the time of Parsons' leadership owned 125 upper upscale and luxury hotels in the United States, South America and Europe. Hotel brands included Fairmont, Four Seasons, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott International, Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton, St. Regis, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection, W and Westin among others.
