Beaver Creek's Westin Riverfront Promotes Two and Hires Two

Executive Meetings Manager

January 13, 2012 - The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is pleased to announce two Sales Team promotions - Meredith Brewer is now serving as the associate director of sales and Kelly Hansen is now a senior catering sales manager. The resort has also hired Lisa Smith to fill the new position of executive meetings manager and Tom Kiddoo to serve as sales & marketing coordinator.

Brewer, who joined The Westin Riverfront Sales Team prior to the resort’s 2008 opening, most recently served as the Director of Catering & Conference Services. A graduate of New York’s Skidmore College, she previously worked as the Director of Catering & Conferences Services at The Lodge at Vail.

Hansen, who also joined The Westin Riverfront in 2008, was most recently the conference services manager. A graduate of Australia’s Queensland University of Technology, she worked for East West Resorts at Beaver Creek’s Highlands Lodge and taught Beaver Creek Ski School prior to joining The Westin Riverfront.

Smith – who is now responsible for groups of 30 rooms or less - joins The Westin Riverfront sales team from Elway’s Downtown at the Ritz-Carlton Denver, where she had been a server and learning coach since 2007. A graduate of College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., she previously was a Senior Sales Representative for Alpine Lodging at the Telluride Reservations Center and a manager of Specialty Sports, both in Telluride.

Kiddoo has served as a reservations agent at The Westin Riverfront since 2009, while also owning www.thanks-dad.com, an online apparel business celebrating the relationship between fathers and their children. A graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, he previously was a marketing coordinator and concierge for Starwood Vacation Ownership at The Westin Riverfront Villas and owned his own construction business.
