New Orleans Marriott Names Robert Bray as New GM

New Orleans, LA - January 13, 2012 - Robert Bray has been named general manager of New Orleans Marriott. With over 20 years of experience with Marriott International, Bray brings his knowledge and expertise in hotel operations, food and beverage and sales to the recently renovated French Quarter hotel. In addition to overseeing daily operations at New Orleans Marriott, Bray will serve as the area general manager for the five Marriott properties located within the Big Easy.

Bray’s transition to this new role will be smooth given his past New Orleans experience. He previously served as the general manager of the Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel and the Renaissance Arts, both in New Orleans, from 1999 – 2004. Most recently, Bray was the general manager at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand & Suites complex for seven years.

Bray is gearing up for a big tourism year in New Orleans.
