Experienced Hospitality Veteran Selected as Director of Sales & Marketing of Luxury Resort

Orlando, FL - January 23, 2012 - The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate - recently named a top golf resort by Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s poll - is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean Spaulding as the new sales & marketing leader. As a highly experienced veteran in the hospitality industry, Spaulding brings unparalleled knowledge of all aspects of resort and destinations sales and marketing to the Omni Orlando Resort.

Spaulding joined the Noble Investment Group in 2006 as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing with responsibilities for Noble’s full- service hotels. In 2009, Spaulding assumed responsibilities for the managed resorts in the Noble portfolio. Named one of the “Most Powerful Women in Travel” in 2002, Spaulding has held senior roles with Interstate Hotels, Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Starwood and Four Seasons. Spaulding held various positions with revenue and marketing responsibilities as well as sales development, including recruitment, training, motivation, retention and incentive plan programs.

Additionally, Spaulding’s experience includes destination marketing as vice president of tourism Marketing for the Greater Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau and vice president of convention sales for the Seattle Convention & Visitors Bureau. Spaulding has been an active member of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, including president of the Washington DC Chapter where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001. She also serves on the Customer Advisory Board for Newmarket International.
