Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel Named “Best Business Hotel in China”

Second Distinguished Award in Two Years

CLEVELAND - February 9, 2012 - The Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel in Shenyang, China has been consistently recognized with some of the highest hospitality accolades, including “Most Popular Guest Rooms in China” in late 2010 and, most recently, in December 2011, as the “Best Business Hotel in China.” The five-star, deluxe, full-service hotel received the award during the “2011 Most Favored Hotels in China” event hosted by the Beijing Review and Expo Weekly.

Experts evaluated the hotels on their brand influence, facilities, services, and customer satisfaction. These scores were combined with a public online vote. Many other international hotel brands competed for the coveted award; however, the results clearly placed the Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel as the “Best Business Hotel in China.”

A landmark of the area, the Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel is built atop the largest shopping mall in Northern China and is part of a multi-purpose complex that includes offices, apartments, and a convention center. Boasting the largest guest rooms in Shenyang, the hotel offers 573 spacious guest rooms, including Deluxe Rooms, Business Rooms, and Club Rooms.

The hotel and conference center are directly connected to the newly opened subway system, providing easy access to the airport and train stations that provide high-speed trains to Beijing and Shanghai. It also has the largest onsite, undercover parking facilities in the area. Later this year the property plans to build an extension to the hotel that will house one of the largest meeting and event facilities in China.

Since opening in July 2008, the Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel has established itself as the premier hotel in the area for business and leisure travelers, in addition to being the preferred location for meetings, incentives, conferences, and events. Guest feedback and repeat business levels continue to be exceptionally high.

“This is an incredible honor for a hotel that opened less than four years ago,” said Frank Prasmo, General Manager of the Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel. “However, our staff works incredibly hard to deliver an experience that is above and beyond anything our guests have ever experienced before. I’m very proud to be associated with such outstanding people.”
