W Dallas - Victory Welcomes Angela Bates as Newest Social Catering Manager

DALLAS - February 21, 2012 - W Dallas - Victory, part of W Hotels Worldwide, is pleased to announce Angela Bates as the property’s newest Social Catering Manager. Bates, who recently joined the Sales and Marketing Team, is responsible for developing and managing all social events from intimate soirees and extravagant parties to wedding ceremonies and receptions. Her prior background and experience with other luxury hospitality brands make her a natural fit for the position.

Bates spent the last five years serving in various capacities with Four Seasons Resort and Club at Dallas, most recently as its Social Catering Manager where she received numerous personal letters of recognition from pleased clients. She is also a member of several industry organizations, including: The American Association of Certified Wedding Planners (AACWP) and June Wedding, Inc. (JWI) -- an internationally renowned and respected membership organization comprised of wedding and event professionals of which she is currently serving as DFW Board Chairperson for meetings and events. She has further honed her communications skills with a brief stint in Public Relations, and holds a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington.
