InterContinental Park Lane Spa is Ready

. October 14, 2008

FEBRUARY 13, 2007. In March 2007, InterContinental London Park Lane will unveil the new Spa InterContinental, a new urban space operated in partnership with Elemis.

The spa will complete the hotel's offerings following a lb76 million refurbishment. Designed by leading interior design practice, RDD, Spa InterContinental has been created with a dark and atmospheric reception lounge, establishing an immediate sense of calm and relaxation from the point of arrival.

The journey continues through the spa, leading to individual treatment room pods that have been designed with innovative fixtures, fittings and finishes.

The unique state-of-the-art lighting and audio installations enable guests and therapists to pre-select their preferred light and sound, in order to fully enhance the treatment experience.

Exuding a stylish urban chic, Spa InterContinental will take care of the individual needs of hotel guests, business travellers and day-spa visitors, offering a bespoke grooming and spa menu. Introducing the Elemis 'time to spa' concept, guests will be able to select treatments of their choice to fit in with their busy schedule and lifestyle.

Whether the guest has ten minutes or ten hours at 10am or 10pm, a personalised spa menu will be created to exceed expectation, from recharging or refuelling to relaxing and indulging. Spa InterContinental will also provide a VIP Suite comprising a double treatment room, lounge area and private restroom. Guests will receive a VIP ritual or tailor-made programme exclusive to the Suite.

An option lunch or dinner from Theo Randall will be served in the privacy of the lounge by a personal butler, and the therapist will prescribe a bag of exquisite spa products and gifts suited to the client.

For the ultimate in luxury, live-in Spa Suites will also be available, providing a personal spa therapist and butler for the entirety of the Suite hire.

Embracing an extensive range of therapies, Spa InterContinental will combine Elemis' holistic lifestyle treatments and La Th'erapie's next generation of cosmeceutical skincare, delivering genuine results in a design-led environment. Its mission is to become London's leading five-star destination spa, and the London La Th'erapie flagship.

Treatments will include La Th'erapie's Age Zone Treatment; HydraLift Intensif Facial and HydraPeel Super Intensif Facial and Elemis' Advanced Anti-Ageing Pro-Collagen Facial; Deep Tissue Muscle Massage; Nurturing Massage for Mother-to-Be and Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow.

General Manager, Roland Fasel explains; "The hotel will be a flagship for the brand when it reopens in March 2007. We have selected strategic partners with specific expertise in each area in order to deliver a world class hotel and spa. Combined with the innovation drive of Elemis and creative energy of RDD, I believe Spa InterContinental will be the best day spa in London."
