CHICAGO, IL, February 26, 2007. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announced its appointment by Highland Hospitality Corporation (NYSE: HIH) as the new management company for The Silversmith Hotel in downtown Chicago. The hotel was previously known as the Crowne Plaza Chicago - Silversmith and was recently acquired by Highland Hospitality. The upscale hotel is a classic property in the style of the late 19th century Arts movement. The Silversmith, with 143 guestrooms including 63 suites, is located in the heart of Chicago's Financial/Theater District (the Loop) and is within walking distance to the world renowned Art Institute, Millennium Park and Grant Park, Symphony Center, Sears Tower and Chicago's finest museums.
