Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Opens in Calgary, Alberta

July 8, 2014 - Holiday Inn Express InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG] today announced the opening of a newHoliday Inn Express® Hotel & Suites in Calgary, Alberta following a $25 million investment by 722413 Alberta Ltd.

The six-story, 113-room hotel also includes 49 suites, a business center, indoor swimming pool with waterslide, and a large meeting space for up to 160 people appropriate for both weddings and corporate meetings. Additionally, the hotel boasts beautiful mountain and downtown views and a heated underground parking facility.

This 78,000-square-foot addition to IHG's hotels in Calgary is located close to some of the city's major attractions such asMcMahon Stadium at the University of Calgary and the Canada Olympic Park.
