ATLANTA - August 8, 201 - InTown Suites Extended Stay Living, the largest wholly owned economy extended-stay brand in America, today announced it has completed the purchase of four extended-stay properties in Virginia. The hotels, formerly Savannah Suites, are located in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News and Norfolk. The acquisition doubles InTown's presence in the Hampton Roads area, and brings the total number of InTown Suites locations to 139.

"The purchase of these four extended-stay properties is an exciting first step in our current growth and brand enhancement strategy, and will allow us to provide even more Americans with exceptional value for their temporary housing needs. Expansion into this already successful and profitable market ensures we remain the leading provider of extended-stay value in Hampton Roads," said Jonathan Pertchik, Chief Executive Officer of InTown Suites.

InTown will apply its efficient, apartment-style operating model to the four new locations immediately. This includes upgrading the properties by adding 42" HDTVs, ultra high-speed wifi, and a host of other enhancements. "Across the country, we are retooling InTown by making these and other improvements to provide our guests the most desirable, economical experience in flexible, lease-free living," said Pertchik.
