Windsor Court Hotel Appoints Marvin Andrade as Senior Sales Manager

NEW ORLEANS - September 4, 2014 - Windsor Court Hotel names Marvin Andrade as Senior Sales Manager. Andrade will be focusing on corporate and incentive travel business out of the Southeast and Canadian markets.

Andrade brings more than 15 years of experience and an outstanding record of exceeding in sales goals and using innovative approaches for luxury New Orleans-based properties. He was previously director of sales for Accent on Arrangements - DMC, a destination management company in New Orleans, and prior to that, was the sales manager of the Hotel Monteleone for eight years.

“Marvin's experience and customer-driven approach will be integral to our team as we continue to increase our visibility in the U.S. and abroad,” said Megan Uram, director of sales and marketing.

Andrade received a Bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of New Orleans, and has since integrated himself into the marketing and hospitality world. He was a member of the National Association of Catering Executives for 12 years and served on the Board of Directors for two years. He was also a member of the Hospitality Education Network Association for 10 years, serving on the Board of Directors for six years. He currently is a member of the Louisiana Society of Association Executives and Meeting Planners International. He is passionate about human rights and animal welfare, supporting both Louisiana SPCA and since 2002, has been a member of the Human Rights Campaign.
