. September 12, 2014

HERNDON, Va., - BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, the leading international solution for serviced apartments, proudly announces the appointment of a new real estate director. Bringing more than 15 years of experience, Derrick LaRosa is the company's newest brand ambassador, whose distinct career path, combining commercial real estate and investment banking expertise, makes him the perfect addition to the Real Estate Management team.

In this role, LaRosa's overall goal is to assist in maximizing the economic impact of the company's international real estate portfolio. His responsibilities include sourcing, acquiring and analyzing information needed to make decisions and recommendations for procuring, renewing, extending or disposing of leased, managed or other portfolio properties. His exceptional financial analysis skills - developed during his time at top investment bank JP Morgan -allow him to evaluate data on a wide variety of real estate matters while accounting for the financial underpinnings of each deal.

“Derrick's unparalleled experience in both finance and commercial real estate make him a valuable addition to the BridgeStreet team,” said Walter Dembiec, Jr., managing director of Americas operations at BridgeStreet. “His understanding of formulating asset management strategies based on valuation benchmarks and underwriting standards will benefit the entire Real Estate Management department.”

LaRosa joins BridgeStreet with 15 years of experience as a financial analyst and real estate advisor, most recently serving as director at Railfield Partners, LLC, a real estate advisory firm where he led commercial mortgage advisory engagement and was responsible for asset management. His tremendous breadth of industry knowledge comes from several positions across the finance and real estate industries, from analyst roles with Bank of America and JP Morgan to directorial experience at three different real estate firms. LaRosa received his bachelor's degree in finance from Boston College in 1998.
