New York, NY - October 17, 2014 - Langham Place, Fifth Avenue is bringing a new level of sophistication to the guest experience with the introduction of fashion-forward Service Stylists. These knowledgeable guest liaisons, who will be the first point of contact upon entering the hotel, will be dressed to reflect their fashionable address in custom-made shirt dresses by Dovima Paris (for the ladies) and colorful neckties and pocket squares by Richard James Savile Row (for the ladies and the gentlemen). A 21st century version of the traditional hotel page, the Service Stylists will be stationed in the lobby where they will welcome guests, escort them to check-in, provide an overview of the hotel and offer recommendations on the best things to see and do during their time in New York.

“The Service Stylists will personify the Langham Place brand, and their smartly-designed uniforms really reflect this,” said General Manager Francois-Olivier Luiggi. “With our location on the city's most fashionable street, we want our hotel experience to be an ever-evolving expression of style, and we're thrilled that our friends at Dovima Paris and Richard James are taking part.”

Jane Pendry of Dovima Paris and the team at Richard James, who are regular guests at the hotel, each lent their signature flair to the Service Stylists' apparel. The dress is variation on one of Dovima Paris' popular styles, tailored to complement the hotel's decor and account for Service Stylists' specific needs. The uniform version of this smart illusion dress, with it's chic shirt top and neat skirt, has been made in two corresponding shades of Langham Place Blue. The dress also features discreet fabric covered buttons, 3/4 length sleeves and a lapel pocket, ideally sized for a men's style pocket square. Most importantly, the dress was conceived to allow the Service Stylist's individual personalities to shine through as well as highlight their key role as members of the Langham Place team and first point of contact for guests.

All Service Stylists will sport pocket squares from Richard James' ready-to-wear collection. Gentlemen will also don a silk Richard James tie. Pocket squares and ties will be available in a variety of colors.

The launch of the new uniforms at Langham Place, Fifth Avenue will take place during the seasonal residency of Richard James at the hotel, during which time fittings are available with Richard James' team for custom suits. Guests who wish to partake in Richard James services October 6-10 or during any of their future residencies are encouraged to book the Savile Row Package at Langham Place, Fifth Avenue.

Langham Place, Fifth Avenue is centrally located at 400 Fifth Avenue, at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 36th Street. In addition to a full-service spa, The Spa at Langham Place, the hotel also boasts a state-of-the art fitness center and the only midtown outpost of Julien Farel Salon, which offers both full and express services for business and leisure travelers on the go. Foodies will enjoy Ai Fiori, a Michelin-starred restaurant from Michael White's Alta Marea Group, located on the hotel's 2nd floor; and Measure, an all-day lounge featuring classic cocktails, an extensive wine and beer list, and Modern American classics with a British twist courtesy of Chef David Vandenabeele.
