Guest-tek Appoints Harri Makela as Executive VP - Business Development, Asia Pacific

Calgary, Alberta - October 23, 2014 - Guest-tek™, the world's largest provider of IP based technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has appointed Harri Makela to the position of Executive Vice President - Business Development, APAC reporting to Chief Operating Officer Suneil Aggarwal.

Mr. Makela will be based in Guest-tek's offices in Bangkok and will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of Guest-tek's Asia Pacific operations. This key addition will help to strengthen Guest-tek's presence in the region, and continue to build strong and lasting partnerships with both local and global customers in this fast growing area.

Guest-tek has already gained a significant presence in Asia through its acquisition of iBAHN in March 2014. The company now serves more than 3500 client hotels in 85 countries with converged data, video, Interactive TV, voice solutions and mobile applications-with services including: network design, procurement, customized UIs, implementation, network management and in-house post sales customer support.
