The Verb Hotel Brings Customer Loyalty to the Counter-Culture

Distinctive New Boston Hotel Joins Stash Hotel Rewards

. November 13, 2014

BOSTON, MA - November 13, 2014 - The Verb Hotel, a dynamic reimagining of the historic Fenway Motor Hotel, today announced a partnership with Stash Hotel Rewards, the largest point-based rewards program for independent hotels across the U.S. As a result of this partnership, guests of The Verb Hotel can earn Stash points, redeemable for free nights at more than 150 one-of-a-kind hotels that share The Verb's independent spirit and attitude.

“The Verb Hotel is designed to provide guests with a distinctive experience, blending Boston's rich musical and literary heritage with the vibrant culture of the modern-day Fenway,” said Michael George, CEO and President of Crescent Hotels and Resorts. “The Stash Rewards program aligns perfectly with The Verb's unconventional character, reinforcing our sense of individuality and commitment to providing our guests with a truly memorable, authentic Boston experience.”

Guests staying at The Verb Hotel will enjoy what The Boston Globe recently referred to as, “a cultural panorama of life in Boston dating to the '60s.” Each of the 93 guest rooms showcase one-of-a-kind music and pop-culture memorabilia straight from the archives of the famed Boston Phoenix and longtime Director of Special Projects for the Phoenix Media Group, David Bieber. The hotel corridors also feature unique musical artifacts, such as a promotional photo of eccentric Modern Lovers leader Jonathan Richman, backstage passes from the J. Giles Band, and torn ticket stubs to a local Blondie show.

“The Verb adds classic mid-century modern architecture, a music scene pedigree and a great Boston location to the incredibly diverse group of hotels in the Stash network,” said Jeff Low, Founder and CEO of Stash Hotel Rewards. “This hotel captures the heart and soul of Fenway and joins architecturally significant Stash partners like The James Royal Palm in Miami Beach and New Orleans' Bourbon Orleans Hotel.”

About The Verb Hotel

The Verb Hotel sees the dynamic reimagining of a classic mid-century motel, which reconnects it with the rich musical and artistic roots of the Fenway neighborhood. Located at 1271 Boylston Street, the property builds on the legacy of the Fenway Motor Hotel that first opened its doors in 1959, fully restoring its now iconic modernist architecture. With an unconventional, often irreverent attitude showcased through its interior decor, and rare music and pop-culture memorabilia from Boston's heritage, supplied and curated by the Boston Phoenix and Bieber Archives, the concept seamlessly melds the best of Boston's past, with the spirited culture of modern-day Fenway. Developed by Samuels & Associates in partnership with Weiner Ventures and Spot-On Ventures, The Verb is an Elkus Manfredi Architects designed hotel. Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the property features 93 guest rooms and outdoor pool at an affordable luxe price point. In addition, a signature restaurant and bar, Hojoko, is set to open early 2015.
