HEI Assumes Management of the Hilton Santa Cruz
March 30, 2015 - HEI Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the recent addition of the 174-room Hilton Santa Cruz Scotts Valley in Santa Cruz, California to its portfolio of managed hotels.
The hotel includes over 7,900 square feet of indoor-outdoor function and meeting space. Hilton full service amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool, spacious courtyards, fitness center, three meal restaurant, lobby lounge and business center.
Located in the city of Scotts Valley just 5 miles north of Santa Cruz and 20 miles south of Silicone Valley, the hotel benefits from year-round demand from both corporate and leisure travelers. Santa Cruz has long been one of California's most popular tourist destinations with its acclaimed boardwalk boasting 3 million visitors annually.
The hotel was acquired by an affiliate of Arden Group on March 9th, at which point HEI assumed management. HEI's Design & Construction team and Arden Group will be jointly managing the planned $7 million renovation.
Arden Group, headquartered in Philadelphia through its discretionary real estate fund platform acquires value-add full-service hotels and class A office properties in major U.S. markets. The Hilton Santa Cruz represents the fourth hotel managed by HEI for Arden Group.
