Davidson Hotels & Resorts Names Carmen Cruz General Manager of CA's Hotel Zephyr Fisherman's Wharf

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - May 6, 2015. Appointed by Davidson Hotels & Resorts, General Manager Carmen Cruz is overseeing the multi-million dollar renovation of Hotel Zephyr Fisherman's Wharf, currently the site of the Radisson Fisherman's Wharf, located at 250 Beach Street. This unique hotel will feature re-imagined upscale accommodations, engaging community spaces and ultimately provide a new dimension to this longtime must-see tourist destination.

Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Cruz's multi-cultural background has aided her successful hotelier career of more than two decades. Her vast experience includes European luxury, 5-star, 5-diamond and boutique hotels, in addition to small luxury properties and hotels with up to 2,000 rooms.

Cruz has a deep breadth of experience in hotel openings and transitions. Under her leadership, her properties consistently receive high guest satisfaction scores even during renovations. She increased service ratings by 15 percent at the Hilton San Francisco and managed the opening of the Hilton San Diego Bayfront from groundbreaking to grand opening.

Cruz aims to build a culture focused on exceptional service and providing an authentic San Francisco experience for the guests of Hotel Zephyr.
