Cambridge, MA. - May 18, 2015. Sheraton Commander Hotel today announced that it has completed a multi-million dollar renovation, featuring significant upgrades to its guest rooms, Club lounge and lobby. The AAA-Three Diamond rated hotel has long been a landmark in the Cambridge community. Located in Harvard Square, the property overlooks Cambridge Common, where George Washington took command of the Continental Army and which is celebrated by a bronze, sculpted figure before the colonial façade of the hotel.

The hotel's lobby boasts a fresh new design with communal seating, offering a warm welcome to guests of the hotel. Just off the lobby is NuBar Restaurant and Lounge, the hotel's restaurant with a 100 year history, offering seasonal fare reinterpreted into a chic and modern neighborhood mainstay with community roots.
