Casa De Campo Appoints New Director of Marketing

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. July 30, 2015 - Casa de Campo - the 7,000-acre luxury resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic - is pleased to announce the appointment of Vanessa Fernandez to Director of Marketing. In this role, Fernandez will be responsible for the Public Relations, Marketing, and development strategies including researching and securing strategic partnerships, special events and sponsorships at Casa de Campo.

Based out of Miami, Florida, Fernandez has more than 15 years of Public Relations, Marketing and Event Planning experience in the hospitality industry and brings a unique and effective management style to the legendary Caribbean destination with a focus on forward-thinking concepts, creativity and networking. Fernandez joins the Casa de Campo team with a strong Public Relations background, previously serving as the Public Relations Manager at The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach, Florida from 2010-2013, and most recently at Meliá Hotels International in Miami, Florida, where she served as the Public Relations and Marketing Manager since 2013. Fernandez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising & Public Relations and Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communications from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida - and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
