Dena Roady Named General Manager At Andaz 5th Avenue

NEW YORK, NY. November 3, 2015 - Andaz 5th Avenue is pleased to announce the appointment of Dena Roady as General Manager of the 184-room luxury boutique property in Manhattan.

Roady, who has an 18-year career with Hyatt Hotels has held numerous positions at eleven full service properties in North America. Most recently she was General Manager at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa and Hyatt Market Street - The Woodlands, near Houston, Texas. Prior to her General Manager appointments, Roady was Executive Assistant Manager at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona from 2010-2012. Roady also served the same function for Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, TX from 2008-2010 and Hyatt Regency Irvine, Irvine CA from 2006-2008. In 2005, she served as the Rooms Manager at Hyatt's Corporate Office and opened seven properties that year.

Starting with the company in 1997 as a Corporate Management Trainee in Newport Beach, CA, Roady has also worked through various operational level positions at Hyatt properties throughout California as well as Kaui, HI.

A native of Northern California, Roady received a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration - Resort and Lodging Management. In her personal time, Roady who just completed her first marathon enjoys pursuing her interests in travel, wine and music. Her husband Tim and herself relish quality time with Riley - their Jack Russell and Quinn - their Rat Terrier.
