. May 10, 2016

MCLEAN, VA. May 10, 2016 - Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) today announced it will more than double its presence in Peru over the next three years with the development of seven new properties across four brands: Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton. These new deals underscore the company's rapid growth and momentum in Latin America, where Hilton Worldwide has been aggressively expanding, now with more than 90 hotels and 15,500 rooms open and welcoming guests across the region. Furthermore, this growth aided Hilton Worldwide in entering its 100th country in 2015.

"Hilton Worldwide is diligent about its growth in Peru and Latin America overall," said Juan Corvinos, managing director development, Central America, Andean & Hispanic Caribbean Regions, Hilton Worldwide. "We're developing properties responsibly in coveted areas that have remained untouched by other developers, pinpointing urban and rural cities near culinary, cultural and adventure attractions and are thrilled to be expanding the presence of our world-renowned brands in the region."

Hilton Garden Inn, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton will each have a presence in Peru by the end of 2019. Properties set to open include: •Hilton Garden Inn Lima Surco: Set to open in Q3 2016 •DoubleTree by Hilton Iquitos: Set to open in Q1 2017 •Hampton by Hilton Tarapoto: Set to open in Q3 2017 •Hampton by Hilton Trujillo: Set to open in Q4 2018 •Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores: Set to open in Q2 2019 •Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Lima San Isidro: Dual-branded hotel, set to open in Q2 2019

Peru's accolades over the past few years have increased since it won the World Travel Awards for the World's Leading Culinary Destination for the fourth consecutive year. Peru has also won the World's Leading Green Destination and South America's Leading Heritage, Cultural and Culinary Destination awards.

"Development in key markets throughout Latin America is a top priority for Hilton Worldwide, and Peru is no exception," said Jim Holthouser, executive vice president, global brands, Hilton Worldwide. "Tourism is one of Peru's most important and growing industries, thanks to the country's dynamic destinations, unparalleled cuisine and renowned cultural attractions. We look forward to our role in this growth and are committed to further expanding our presence by introducing new brands throughout the country."

Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Worldwide's upscale brand of more than 675 hotels globally, is creating the largest footprint in the Peruvian community, with three hotels underway. This will mark the first dual-branded hotel outside of North America for these particular brands, and one of Homewood Suites first hotels in the region since the brand developed its Latin America and Caribbean prototype in 2015. These projects will be developed and owned by T&C Developments, and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

The 86-guestroom Hampton by Hilton Tarapoto, owned by Inversiones Hoteleras y Turisticas del Peru S.A.C., will offer guests a great base to experience the vast Amazon Rainforest, with its adventurous river rafting and hiking activities. Guests of the 94-guestroom Hampton by Hilton Trujillo, now under construction, will stay in the center of history, with vibrant colonial architecture, ancient temples and pre-Incan archeological sites. Both franchised properties will join Hampton's global portfolio of more than 2,100 upper midscale hotels in 20 countries and territories.

The franchised hotel will be a conversion of the Hotel Dorado owned by Hotel Plaza S.A.
