Famed Architects NBWW to Design Margaritavillage Hotel in Orlando
Miami-based architecture firm will be at the forefront of design for the newest Jimmy Buffet-inspired hotel
MIAMI, FL. May 18, 2016 - Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates, Inc. (NBWW), an award-winning, internationally-recognized architecture firm, is pleased to announce it will design the hotel component of MargaritaVillage, the newest Margaritaville-branded resort in Orlando, Fla. Developed by Encore Capital Management with interiors by The McBride Group and landscape design by SCI, the lifestyle community will be the world's first MargaritaVillage destination resort.
Located just minutes from Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Theme Park, the 300-acre MargaritaVillage is set to include 170,000 square-feet of world-class retail, hospitality, destination dining and entertainment including an arcade, spa, planetarium, fishing school, paddle boarding, kayaking and six-acre themed water park. The development will also boast 1,000 residential units including a mix of resort vacation homes, luxury condominiums and apartments. NBWW will design the new 187-room Margaritaville-branded hotel at the development, which will include 20 suites, three restaurants and one Grab and Go outlet, a 7,000 square-foot ballroom, four meeting rooms totaling 4,480 square feet, and 99,000 square-feet of lagoon style pools. The project is slated for completion in early 2017.
