. June 07, 2016

DALLAS, TX. June 7, 2016 - NewcrestImage continues its reputation for distinctive adaptive reuse properties as it opens a 176-room, 18-floor Hampton Inn & Suites today in the historic Allen Building in
downtown Dallas. The hotel becomes a flagship property for Hilton Worldwide as the
largest Hampton in the Dallas area and the first Hampton in downtown Dallas in more
than 12 years.

“Our team has combined the traditions of yesterday with the trends and technology of today to create a freshly creative, functional, and aesthetically-pleasing site,” explains Mehul Patel, Chairman and CEO of NewcrestImage. “Downtown Dallas is undergoing dramatic urban rebirth and our new hotel is intended to be the catalyst for even further development.”

Built in 1923, the Allen Building was acquired by NewcrestImage in 2014 and has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. Amenities now include a 300 sq. ft. board room; a fitness center; and a business center plus a Treats Shop, both of which are open around the clock. Plans call for a fine dining restaurant tenant in space that is available for lease.

According to Patel, the new Hampton is convenient for both business and leisure travelers, with a location that is within walking distance of destinations such as Dealey Plaza; the Deep Ellum arts, entertainment, and dining district; the American Airlines Center, an 18,500-seat multi-purpose arena; and the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.

Immediately across the street from the hotel is the corporate headquarters and flagship store of Neiman-Marcus.

“The opening of this new Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton property in thriving downtown Dallas gives business and leisure travelers all the value-added amenities they will need in a convenient urban location,” said Phil Cordell, global head, focused service and Hampton by Hilton brand management, Hilton Worldwide. “In addition, this hotel is managed by NewcrestImage, a valued, long-term partner of the brand who envisions this Hampton hotel as not only a showcase property but also a key asset for the area.”

Dallas-based NewcrestImage has won industry awards and acclaim for its reinterpretation of historic locations such as the New Orleans Cotton Exchange building into a 220-room AC Hotel and the 1927-era Fisk Building in downtown Amarillo into a 107-room Courtyard by Marriott.

NewcrestImage currently owns and operates 20 hotels, with another 11 hotels under construction or in development including renovation of historic sites in Cincinnati, New Orleans, Houston, and Dallas. The company has three divisions -- real estate development; construction; and hotel management.
