Fabrice Collot Appointed General Manager of Banyan Tree Macau
MACAU, CH. July 18, 2016 - Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Mr. Fabrice Collot as General Manager of Banyan Tree Macau.
In his role as general manager for Banyan Tree Macau, Mr. Collot will primarily be accountable for leading the team to ensure delivery of expected financial and operational results and that the Group's standards are complied with. He is also accountable for maintaining effective relations with the owning company.
Prior to joining Banyan Tree Macau, Mr. Collot has served six years as general manager at the award winning Leading Hotels of the World Maradiva Villas Resort and Spa in Mauritius, Wanda Realm Ma'anshan and Wanda Vista Tianjin in China starting from year 2011. Under his leadership, Wanda Vista Tianjin posted in year 2015 the best financial results since the hotel opening despite adverse market conditions caused by the Tianjin port explosion.
Mr. Collot, a French native is a veteran senior management executive with more than 27 years of experience in government administration and hospitality industry across four continents. He started his career with French Consulate General in Jerusalem, and joined hospitality industry in United States nine years later. He also garnered invaluable experience working with international hospitality brands such as Kempinski, and was a Hotel Manager with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts from year 2009 to year 2011.
