Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa Welcomes Rodahl Leong-Lyons as New Director of Operations

HONOLULU, HI. July 21, 2016 - Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa announces the appointment of Rodahl Leong-Lyons as the new Director of Operations for the resort. A seasoned Hyatt veteran with 25 years of experience, Leong-Lyons began her hospitality career at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa in 1991 before advancing to hold numerous high-profile positions within Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Leong-Lyons brings a unique, global understanding of resort operations and strong leadership qualities. She most recently served as the Vice President of Sales Operations - Asia Pacific at Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Leong-Lyons began her Hyatt career as Front Desk Agent and Supervisor at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa in 1991, where she climbed the ranks and was eventually promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. Following her departure from the resort in 2006, Leong-Lyons worked with Hyatt properties around the world, including Grand Hyatt Las Vegas and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Chicago, as well as at Hyatt Hotels in America where she served as Vice President Sales - America and Hyatt Hotels in Hong Kong where she served as the Vice President of Sales Operations - Asia Pacific. Leong-Lyons returns to Waikiki with her husband Michael, another alumnus of Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach, and two daughters.
