ATLANTA, GA. September 27, 2016 - Coral Hospitality-GA, LCC and American Adventure Park Systems this week unveiled the new Aerial Adventure Park at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. Representatives from both companies, as well as members of the media gathered for an event commemorating the completion of the park's newest adrenaline-pumping excursion.

“In 2015, tourists to the State of Georgia generated more than $58.9 billion. As one of the largest segments of tourism, adventure travel is a rapidly evolving trend, making our partnership with American Adventure Park Systems a natural fit at exactly the right time,” said Heath Carter, regional vice president of sales and marketing at Coral Hospitality, during the festivities.

“We have enjoyed success already with our Aerial Adventure Park program at Unicoi State Park & Lodge and are excited to roll out a similar offering now at Unicoi's sister property, Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. We look forward to continuing to create fun and unique ways for adventurers to get outdoors and explore our beautiful Georgia State parks,” he added.

The Aerial Adventure Park at Amicalola State Park & Lodge (pictured right) consists of 11 ziplines that range from 75 to 2000 feet and three suspended bridges, with varying heights and lengths to appeal to adventurers of all levels.

Committed to building safe, innovative, family-friendly attractions, American Adventure Park Systems has implemented their patented QuickTrekker closed belay system at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. The QuickTrekker is one of the safest harness system in the industry, ensuring guests are securely connected to lines throughout their canopy adventure, rather than transferring connections. While on the attraction, adventurers enjoy panoramic views of the parks' beautiful greenery, as well as the surrounding lakes and mountains. They may even have the rare opportunity to spot bald eagles, red tailed hawks and deer!

Located in Dawsonville, GA, Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge features 57 lodge rooms and lies steps from the popular Amicalola Falls and extraordinary hiking trails. Guests looking for a more rustic experience can enjoy the park's 24 campsites with comfort accommodations, or stay in one of 14 cabins. All cabins are equipped with a full kitchen, heating and air conditioning, decks, fireplaces and satellite TV, and are available in one- to three-bedroom arrangements. In addition to the new Aerial Adventure Park, visitors can enjoy hiking, GPS scavenger hunts, 3-D archery, mountain biking, fire pit stories and more.

Just in time for the beautiful fall season in Georgia, Coral Hospitality is offering an 'Elevate Your View' package - bringing a unique twist on fall foliage viewing. With nightly rates starting at $99 per person, the offer includes lodge accommodations and zipline package for two, giving travelers an up close and personal look at the changing of the leaves as they zipline their way through the North Georgia Mountains.
