Quadrum Global Opens the Arlo NoMad, a 250-key "Micro" Hotel in New York City

. November 23, 2016

NEW YORK, N.Y. November 23, 2016 - A partnership of Quadrum Global, Simon Baron Development, Eagle Point Hotel Partners and KSNY today announced the opening of Arlo NoMad, a new 250-key “micro” hotel offering thoughtfully designed, four-star accommodations on 31st Street in Manhattan's thriving NoMad neighborhood.

Infused with the core elements of the Arlo Hotels brand, the hotel provides world-class tech-integrated service, function-centric layouts, and locally inspired design and amenities. Arlo NoMad is the second in the line of Arlo hotels focused on creating a memorable, organic experience as the principal amenity. Quadrum launched the Arlo brand earlier this year with the opening of Arlo Hudson Square, which debuted in September with resounding success.

“This is our second Arlo Hotel to open in New York this year and we are hoping it will enjoy the same enthusiastic reception as Arlo Hudson Square,” said Oleg Pavlov, Quadrum's founder and chief executive officer. “By combining efficient spaces with vibrant communal areas, Arlo Hotels offer a unique guest experience that is both welcoming and authentic.”

Located at 11 E. 31st Street in Manhattan, just a short walk from the Empire State Building, Herald Square and Madison Square Park, Arlo NoMad is situated in an exciting nexus of hotels, nightlife and restaurants. The location is perfectly suited to tourists and leisure travelers looking to experience all Manhattan has to offer, as well as business visitors who will appreciate the proximity to all of Midtown's office buildings as well as the newly emerging area around Hudson Yards.

Rooms at Arlo marry form and function, while raw and refined decor throughout each property speaks to an aesthetic of graceful simplicity. Guest service is enhanced through smart technologies such self-check-in/check-out kiosks, complimentary fiber WiFi, bedside USB charging stations, and Bluetooth radio; music lounges, rooftop terraces and patios are prime social destinations; entertainment includes performances by up-and-coming artists; and workshops are hosted by leaders in today's creative milieu.

Enhancing NoMad's already vibrant dining scene, Arlo NoMad is home to three destination-worthy hangouts, from Chef Dale Talde and partners David Massoni and John Bush: MASSONI, an inventive new restaurant and bar featuring a menu “Italian-ish” cuisine and market-driven ingredients from the New York area; BARlo, a second-floor bar, lounge and terrace offering rotating cocktail list and menu of small bites; and The Heights, a rooftop bar featuring an inventive cocktail menu and great views of both downtown and uptown Manhattan.
