Tradewinds Carmel and Carmel Lodge Appoint Maureen Doran as the New General Manager
CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, CA. March 21, 2017 — Maureen Doran joins Tradewinds Carmel & Carmel Lodge as the new General Manager of the two inns located in the heart of the charming village of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif. Doran brings with her 25 plus years of hospitality experience.
Prior to joining the inns, Doran worked with Moonstone Hotel Properties where she served as both a Regional Manager and General Manager of the Monterey Hotel, Carmel River Inn and Deer Haven Inn. In addition to her position with Moonstone Hotels, her lengthy career included opening Marina Dunes Resort (now Beach Sanctuary) in Marina, Calif., as well as more than a decade of her career at Highlands Inn and Spindrift Inn under the management umbrella of Coastal Hotel Group.

In her new position, Doran will serve as the strategic leader and manager of all hotel personnel. The two properties' operations managers—Berit Keeble at Tradewinds Carmel and Elizabeth Bala at Carmel Lodge—will remain in their current positions. Both Keeble and Bala boast more than 20 years of local hotel experience.
