Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa Nears Completion of Its Two Phase, $50 Million Renovation

GRAND CAYMAN, KY. May 29, 2017 - Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is putting the finishing touches on the second phase of a property-wide renovation that will debut distinctive enhancements to all guest rooms and suites and adjacent corridors. The project follows the introduction of a fresh new contemporary aesthetic and enriched guest experience within public spaces across the award-winning resort, which occupies eight acres along the widest and most expansive portion of the famed Seven Mile Beach. The second phase of the $50 million project, which wraps up in September 2017, will be completed for the peak 2017-2018 Caribbean travel season.

Westin Grand Cayman's redesigned public spaces and accommodations feature natural materials used in harmony with the landscape creating an authentic sense of place for guests. While contemporary touches are showcased throughout the newly enhanced resort, the design team paid special attention to preserving the property's Caribbean sensibility.

All of Westin Grand Cayman's 343 luxe accommodations, ranging from Island View Rooms sized at 380 sq. ft. to its expansive Presidential Suite and Governor's Suite both offering 3,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor living space with private beachfront verandas, received a floor-to-ceiling transformation with colors, textures and materials inspired by the surrounding environment.
