RICHMOND, VA. June 5, 2017 - Kindred Resorts & Hotels, a collection of 64 independent hotels and resorts focused exclusively on the group and meetings market, gears up for the summer season with new upgrades and offerings at a selection of their award-winning properties across North America. Basin Harbor Club - Vergennes, VT

The charming Lake Champlain resort celebrates its 131st season this summer with a coastal redesign. Using attic treasures such as boat oars, croquet mallets and other vintage finds, interior design expert Joanne Palmisano of Salvage Secrets is re-purposing Basin Harbor's past to enliven its one-of-a-kind guest rooms and cottages with authentic charm. The resort has also recently debuted a brand-new Boat Club, the only offering of its kind on Lake Champlain. The new docking system will give travelers arriving and staying overnight on their boat access to 700 acres of resort amenities including golf, boating, swimming, dining and more.

Canyon Ranch® - Lenox, MA & Tucson, AZ

Wellness pioneer Canyon Ranch has recently announced the launch of Canyon Ranch Residences at Bellefontaine, a collection of 19 exquisitely designed and beautifully appointed condominiums at its 120-acre Lenox, MA location. Designed by Architect Robert E. Harrison, with interior design by William Caligari Jr., the stunning, eco-friendly residences range in price from $1.35 to $2.5 million and boast open, spacious floor plans, high, architecturally detailed ceilings, luxury amenities and balconies and terraces with sweeping views of the Bellefontaine grounds. Guests also have access to the renowned facilities and programming that have earned Canyon Ranch its global following, including gourmet dining, spa, fitness and wellness.

Emerson Resort & Spa - Mount Tremper, NY

Nestled in the heart of the legendary Catskill Mountains just two hours from Manhattan, Emerson Resort & Spa recently debuted a brand-new spa as the final part of a $6 million nature-themed renovation which also included new accommodations and signature restaurant Woodnotes Grille. The full-service 6,193-square-foot Emerson Spa offers a variety of new signature lines, treatments and experiences that emphasize the use of stones, high-grade essential oils and customized integrative treatments. The property has also introduced a number of gastronomic offerings for guests including guided mushroom walks on select Sundays from May to October with the region's renowned “Mushroom Man,” John Michelotti of Catskill Fungi. Guests will learn about local Catskill fungi as well as their healing and medicinal powers, apothecary offerings, future trends and more. Leisure and group guests can also partake in full-day local wine excursions to unique area wineries which also include accommodations, a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, transportation to/from the wineries, picnic lunch at the winery and wine tastings. Weekend packages begin at $1,324, with special pricing available for groups of 10 or more.

The Nantucket Hotel + Resort / Winnetu Oceanside Resort - Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard, MA

The Nantucket Hotel + Resort, located in downtown Nantucket, and the Winnetu Oceanside Resort, located at South Beach in Edgartown, have partnered together to offer day-trip experiences between Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The Nantucket Hotel guests will be able to enjoy a "Taste of the Vineyard" with ample time for a scenic drive, poolside lunch at Winnetu and a swim in the outdoor heated pool. Guests can also book the day trip from The Winnetu to The Nantucket Hotel with lunch or Sunday Brunch, use of outdoor swimming pools and use of The Nantucket Club. Shuttle transfers from the hotel to the ferry and inter-island ferry passage are included in the price of the day trip, which starts at $99 per person. The Winnetu, located at South Beach in Edgartown, sits on 11 acres and is the island's only full service, all-suite resort with, tennis club, children's program and award-winning Dunes restaurant, helmed by new executive chef Scott Ehrlich. The Nantucket Hotel, located in downtown Nantucket, occupies the island's last great seaside hotel. Built in 1891 and fully renovated in 2012, the hotel combines the nostalgia of the past with the luxury of today including all suite accommodations, two pools, full service fitness center and Breeze Restaurant, which serves updated New England coastal cuisine and is overseen by new executive chef Bill Weiss.

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club - Naples, FL

Southwest Florida's iconic AAA Four-Diamond beachfront resort has recently reinvented their championship golf course by renowned golf icon Jack Nicklaus and acclaimed course architect John Sanford, as part of a $50 million renovation project taking place over the last few years. As a group incentive, the award-winning meetings resort is offering an enticing “Perks Are in Full Swing Group Promotion.” Available to new bookings for programs from May 21 - October 31, 2017, groups with at least 15 rooms on peak nights, with a minimum of two peak nights on Sunday-Thursday, will receive a variety of appealing perks ranging from a welcome beverage and signature treat for all attendees to a complimentary beer and wine reception.

Ocean House - Watch Hill, RI

The iconic Forbes triple Five-Star New England resort just completed a multi-million renovation of all 49 guestrooms, including rich ceramic tile entryways, custom wool carpets, updated technology, custom in-room bar trimmings and renewed color palettes. They are also opening a Secret Garden bar and champagne lounge May 26 which will feature a beautiful garden-inspired lounge, gourmet culinary menu and a selection of Veuve Clicquot champagnes, including the new Clicquot Rich Champagne. Guests can enjoy an al fresco gourmet menu created by the resort's culinary team with summer essentials including miniature gourmet hotdogs, fresh seafood and enticing desserts. The Secret Garden is available to rent for groups in June and September.

Saddlebrook Resort - Tampa, FL

Surrounded by native lush Florida landscaping and well known for their world-class golf and tennis training, the 480-acre award-winning Saddlebrook Resort has recently renewed and refreshed their two Arnold Palmer signature golf courses, implementing programs of all types to improve the courses' overall playability. The resort has also added a new 16-acre Saddlebrook Golf Training Center and Range, encompassing every element of the game and the latest state-of-the-art TrackMan, SamBalanceLab, and SamPuttLab technology. Whether a beginner or professional, golfers can find challenging and valuable golf play in this multi-faceted training facility. Golfers can train with one of the resort's professionals or score themselves while rotating through the practice stations. To celebrate their new golf additions, the resort offers three golf packages ranging from the Value Golfer to the Premier Golf Experience.

Sonnenalp Hotel - Vail, CO

Known for its welcoming hospitality and charm in the picturesque alpine setting of Vail, CO, the family-owned Sonnenalp Hotel is currently selling Summer at the Sonnenalp value-added rates for select dates in June which will include reduced room rates as well as a lower resort fee, reduced parking, 10% off spa services and discounted group golf rates. The value-added offer will be available on the following dates: June 1-4 at $180 per night, June 4-7 at $160 per night and June 11-14 at $160 per night. For leisure and group guests looking to integrate wellness into their stay, Sonnenalp has introduced an exclusive series of wellness retreats in partnership with leading health and wellness experts. Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Conference Center - Stowe, VT

An unparalleled meeting destination and the only Vermont facility certified by the International Association of Conference Centers, the AAA four-diamond Stoweflake Resort & Conference Center raises the bar with the introduction of several new signature programs designed to make events more rewarding for attendees. The Merchants-to-Meetings initiative leverages relationships with unique boutique shops, restaurants, tours, breweries, distilleries and more, along with added amenities such as all-inclusive pricing and dedicated event planners, for an authentic Vermont experience. Combining the warmth and charm of an Inn with amenities of a world-class resort, Woodstock Inn & Resort is currently undergoing a $6.5 million renovation of their guestrooms including the addition of new Legacy Suites, new Woodstock Collection Rooms and Spa guestrooms. Both leisure and group guests can enjoy new activities including cycling on Fat Bikes, New England Falconry Center programs and fly fishing, as well as year-round events on the property's Ski Mountain and new wellness programs at the recently refreshed Athletic Club. This summer, Woodstock Inn will also add a demo kitchen located in a historic barn at their farm-to-table Kelly Way Gardens for their Executive Chef and Master Gardener to host vibrant culinary events.
