SANTA BARBARA, CA. June 7, 2017 - Santa Barbara's most anticipated luxury property, the Hotel Californian, is launching as an ideal venue for meetings and groups this summer. New event spaces found in the hotel's three buildings include:

• The Californian building: Preserving the facade of the original 1925 Hotel Californian, the Californian building is a four-story structure including the only fourth floor outdoor event space which is the 1,300-square-foot rooftop pool and event deck that will provide stunning, unobstructed 360-degree panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Ynez mountains and can accommodate up to 180 guests. • The Mason building: Comprised of two three-story structures, the Mason building includes an executive board room and five flexible meeting with private patios, making it an ideal setting for meetings of up to 60 as well as can be available for groups looking for a buyout. The different meeting rooms range from 520 square feet to 664 square feet and can be divided into two equal sections to accommodate small meetings and dining events. These surround a shared hospitality lounge for coffee, catering and breakout functions. Immediately adjacent to the lobby and library, is a completely flexible meeting room at 770 square feet and an executive board room, which is 350 square feet and provides a superb venue for intimate meetings including corporate retreats, board meetings and private dinners.

• The State building: Unequivocally, this is the most dynamic and flexible event and social catering venue in Santa Barbara. A 4,200-square-foot plaza lawn, together with the 3,000-square-foot ballroom and a 3,500-square-foot rooftop event deck, the State building will provide an exquisite venue for group events for up to 300.
