Owner Advisory Group Names Greg Hooper Director of Asset Management

HOUSTON, TX. June 14, 2017 - The Woodlands … Owner Advisory Group (OAG), a hotel asset management and advisory company, has appointed Greg Hooper director of asset management. Erik Johnson, vice president of the Owner Advisory Group, made the announcement.

“We are excited to welcome Greg to this role with OAG,” said Mr. Johnson. “He comes with uniquely important experience and qualifications that will serve the Owner Advisory Group team well and significantly support our growth. He also brings previous and substantial asset management experience to his new role.”

Greg Hooper joins OAG, bringing 30 years of senior-level asset management, hotel operations and finance experience to his new position. Most recently he served as vice president of hotel accounting for Gemstone Hotels & Resorts, a company that merged with BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, in July of last year. OAG is an affiliate of BENCHMARK.

Mr. Hooper has held vice president positions for PMHS and Prism Hotels and Resorts. Earlier in his career with Gemstone, he was director of asset management and corporate accounting. Hooper was also previously part of the Benchmark organization, serving in the role of director of finance for the Resort at Squaw Creek, a property which the company operated at the time.

Mr. Hooper is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting. He resides in Park City, Utah.
