PULA, SARDINIA. This year, the 2017 season's calendar of events shines brighter than ever with over-the-top star power and one-of-a-kind children's programs that guests have come to expect from this extraordinary destination resort. •Chelsea AcademyCHELSEA FOOTBALL ACADEMY - JULY 17-28, 2017

The extraordinary Chelsea Football Club School, pairs young soccer enthusiasts with former pros from the UK's legendary team to offer one week courses focusing on teamwork, tactics and individual techniques. From July 17-21, kids will learn from Dennis Frank Wise, who played as midfielder for Chelsea and won two FA Cups, a League Cup and a UEFA Cup, becoming one of the most successful team captains. While Tore Andre Flo, who's considered one of the best players in the history of Chelsea, will teach from 24 to 28 July, 2017. Rates for a 1-day course begin at €160 and includes the Official Chelsea Nike Kit of branded equipment.

•FV TENNIS ACADEMY WITH ILIE NÃSTASE - AUGUST 3 -9, 2017

Guests have the chance to perfect their game with one of the best international players of all time, Ilie Nãstase, a two-time world #1 and one of only five players in the world to have won more than a hundred professional ATP titles. Rates for 5-day group course are €350 (includes branded cap, shirt, tennis bag and towel), while individual one-hour lessons with the tennis legend are €150.

•IL VOLO CONCERT - JULY 28, 2017

Forte Arena, the resort's natural open-air amphitheater, will host the internationally acclaimed Italian operatic pop trio Il Volo. Guests will enjoy the group perform songs from their recent album Notte Magica - A Tribute to the Three Tenors, as the arias, timeless and romantic, float through the night air. Tickets for this event begin at €69, and do not include accommodation.

•MARVIN'S MAGIC ACADEMY - JULY 17 to August 4, 2017

For the first time ever, British celebrity magician Marvin Berglas will lead a five-day magic academy, during which he will reveal secrets to some of his most famous tricks to Forte Village guests. Aspiring illusionists can take part in the entire week-long school in just one or two lessons. While in residence at the resort, Marvin is also available for private parties. The five-day Magic Academy is open to children age 6 and older for €390 per child. Alternatively, a child can enjoy a one-day class full of magic with Marvin for €90.

•FV FILM SCHOOL - JULY 17-21, 2017

Film tutors from the British Film Institute work with young guests on the art of filmmaking, exploring a range of different types and styles. Kids will discover how to shoot an exciting action sequence and learn editing to create special effects. The Forte Village Film School is tailored to two age groups: 6-8 year-olds will focus on animation and 9-12 year-olds will work on their own film ideas. Rates for the 5-day course begin at €375 per child.
