Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel Appoints Esther Wells as Director of Sales and Marketing

NEW YORK, NY. July 10, 2017 - The Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Esther Wells as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. In her role, Wells will lead all group and transient sales efforts and manage strategic marketing partnerships for the 348-room hotel, which opened in March 2016.

Wells has been with Marriott International for six years, most recently coming from the Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center as the Director of Sales and Marketing where she was on the Opening Executive Committee of the 317-room hotel designed by architect Danny Forster. Prior to that Esther was the Destination Sales Executive for the JW Marriott Essex House in New York, and an Account Executive with Marriott International. Previous positions in the hostility industry were at Caesars Entertainment and Benchmark Hospitality International at The Heldrich in New Brunswick, NJ and at the Downtown Conference Center in New York.
